Ocimum Biosolutions has added a few more names in the list of its prestigious clients in last quarter. Some of them are
LIMS:
  1. Cerilliant Corporation, Texas, U.S.A. (Pharmatracker™)

    Requirement:
Aim of this project is to implement a GLP and 21 CFR part 11 compliant LIMS solution to cater the needs of Pharmaceutical laboratories at Cerilliant Corporation. Successful implementation of this project involves interfacing of Pharmatracker™ with instruments such as HPLC, GC, GCMS, LCMS, and GCFID, analyzing the instrument output, and generating Certificate of Analysis (COA). Obtained data and results will be managed by Pharmatracker™ to help researchers in the areas of Formulation, Quality Assurance process.
  2. National Institute of Cellular Biology, DCU, Dublin, Ireland (Biotracker™)

    Requirement:
Aim of this project is to implement a LIMS solution to cater the needs of Microarray and Proteomics facilities established by DCU. Successful implementation of this project involves interaction of Biotracker™ with state-of-the-art instruments used for Microarray (expression analysis) such as Affymetrix, Bioanalyzer, Nanodrop, and Typhoon Scanner. In addition to the instruments, Biotracker™ also interfaces with the GCOS Database for Affymetrix suite. Data so obtained will be managed by Biotracker™ and will be added to the knowledge base in the areas of Microarray and Proteomics research to identify new therapeutic targets and diagnostic methods for diseases (cancer, microbial diseases and diabetes in particular) and to understand basic biological processes including regulation of gene expression during cell differentiation.
  3. UNM Health Sciences Center, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico (Biotracker™)

    Requirement:
Aim of this project is to implement a GLP and 21 CFR part 11 compliant LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) solution to cater the needs of Pre-clinical and Clinical trial facilities and Microarray facilities established by UNM. Successful implementation of this project involves interfacing of Biotracker™ with instruments such as Luminex, Ciphergen, Agilent Bio analyzer, and Nanodrop. Obtained data will be managed by Biotracker™ to help researchers in the areas of Microarray, Pre-clinical, and Clinical research.
  4. Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (NFCL), Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India (Biotracker™)

    Requirement:
Aim of this project is to implement a client – server based laboratory information and knowledge management system which will be used to collect, store, view, display and query data emerging out of biological research. Biotracker™ would integrate multiple functions in laboratories and efficiently carry out administration of laboratory personnel, manage inventory and resources, and optimize planning and utilization of these resources. It would also maintain bibliographic information of experimental procedures and capture, analyze, store, retrieve and report experimental outcomes. This customized solution would provide a single robust point of access with a user-friendly interface for the NFCL.
