One of the most important challenges in sequencing is to effectively gather information from different resources and then organize it efficiently for the end user. Biotracker™ supports all sequencing technologies, including next generation sequencing such as the AB SOLiD™.

In Pre-Sequencing, Biotracker™ provides management of multiple sample types, sequencing order management, sequencing project workflows, volume and concentration assignments of primer and reagents, and outline and trace protocols, experiments, analyses, along with task scheduling and personnel training.

In Post Sequencing, Biotracker™ provides results validation, storage of standard data, and output of this data for analysis using BLAST, consed, phred and phrap; report generation, and Results on subjects.

For sequencing labs that are minimalists in that they do the runs, QC the data and then output the results for PIs who do their own analysis, Biotracker™ can also be used here without configuring experimental designs and associated workflows or resource tracking.
