Biostaticians and Bioinformatics professionals at Ocimum have helped conceptualize algorithms for various tools and services. Such as use of Differential Gene Expression and Graph Theory to develop gene interaction networks, NGS data analysis using suffix tree and hash mapping programmes

A wide range of novel algorithms and techniques have been developed internally at Ocimum, as part of the our service and product development commitments. Algorithms were designed for various modules that are included in our bioinformatics softwares, such as iRNAchek, Genchek, OptGene and Genowiz. These include algorithms that were developed for complex data analysis routines, or the design of sophisticated visualization tools for user analysis. Independently, such data analysis routines and visualizations were also developed for various client specific services undertaken in Ocimum.

Most of these products have been created as a result of inter-departmental collaboration with contributions from internal experts of different fields such as web-data miners, database specialists, biostatisticians, data visualization experts, core Java/Hibernate developers, and GUI developers.

Our Biostatisticians and Bioinformatics professionals have helped conceptualize algorithms for various tools and services such as use of Differential Gene Expression and Graph Theory to develop gene interaction networks; Next-Gen Sequencing data analysis using suffix tree and hash mapping programs; and SVM based methods for DNA Sequence profiling.
